Our “group endeavor” during “Esoteric Lent 2026” actively rests with one singular upward striving ~ Cultivating Joy.
When the Sun entered Pisces, we entered the twelfth sign — a Sign of Synthesis, and the Sign of the “Saving Force” and “Salvation.” It is in this final month that the long-awaited “year 2025” comes to completion, drawing upon all that has been gained in the last 100 year cycle. Built upon this foundation, we build the future. The festival of Easter Aries that follows initiates a new and higher spiritual cycle. Christ as leader of the spiritual Hierarchy — the Kingdom of the One Soul, and of Humanity, activates a “new cycle” for the spiritual world to come closer to Humanity.
IN THIS MONTH OF PISCES, we suggest experiencing the fuller teachings and energies of Pisces by “inquiring the way together.” We delve into a deeper understanding of the “Saving Force” which Christ contacted and directed for the Salvation of Humanity.

CULTIVATING JOY
A DAILY PRACTICE
As we enter these pages with the pure intention to “Cultivate JOY,” we activate a magical process of the Soul both within ourselves and the group Soul ~ the Soul Star Group of which we are a part. The Soul is group conscious. We can expect experiences of JOY to course through our subtle awareness. Through a focused intentional rhythm, the vibrational planes upon which JOY lives will be contacted, opening the gates through which Joy will flow like a clean rising current of increasing potency and renewing power (strength). Who would not want Joy to dominate the consciousness of our lives, setting all things right, well and anew.
The Masters of Love-Wisdom operate from the planes of JOY. As we attune to and vibrate in a state of JOY, we join one aspect of the energy field of the Spiritual Hierarchy in whose center stands the Christ Who loves and leads Humanity into a new world.

DAILY MEDITATION
— A suggested Daily Meditation for SILENCE AND JOY —
The meditation that follows was adapted from an original focusing on “silence and joy” (and will be replaced by another at a later time).
Silence and Joy, when “rightly fostered, mean strength conserved and magnetic service. Joy produces right magnetism and will inevitably quickly "speed you on your way" — the “lighted way.”
In the phrase "the Lighted Way", Master DK sought “to evoke in all disciples the recognition that the light which is in each and all of [us] will, can and ofttimes does, light [our] path of life.”

Sounding the sacred Word, OM, and upon the breath ~
1. Withdraw your outgoing consciousness from the periphery to the point of silence within the head — to the place where the "gold and the blue meet, blend and merge." OM
2. Then endeavor to feel that utter silence. When having entered into it and aware of it, then

a. The spiritual Hierarchy … within which stands the Christ [pause, OM]
b. Our Master — if you know not your Master, send blessings to “The Christ” [pause, OM] ~

4. Thence visualize a vivid golden yellow; ponder on the true significance, value and reward of silence.
5. Next, visualize a vivid electric blue; ponder on the true significance, value and reward of joy.

c. The full expression of joy ~ OM

Cultivating Joy in our lives is a discipline of implementation. Making rhythmic soul contact brings the Soul into our orbit. Thinking as a soul, serving as a soul, acting as a soul are all spiritual disciplines that after a time, become natural and effortless.

The “Discipline of pain and sorrow” and the “Discipline of joy and achievement.”
“Just as there is a discipline of pain and of sorrow, there is also a discipline of joy and of achievement. This is a thought worthy of attention. Disciples and aspirants these days need to learn this new truth, and its perception will greatly change human consciousness. That which is bliss is today here or on its way, and the disciples and aspirants of this present time must be taught how to recognize and implement it." (Discipleship in the New Age-II (DNA-II), 671)
To learn to recognize and implement the new truth of the “discipline of joy and achievement”, we can begin shifting our perception towards it now that we know its value and significance to “change human consciousness!”
Every conscious Soul alive in the world today can be a Light unto others — a Light in the World. To be and live as a conscious Soul is the primary goal of taking incarnation. “Soul” awareness is more than human. We shift our identification of being human to being “soul.” We merge with the soul after countless experiences of contact. The soul then embodies, takes over, and takes residence – then we can think as the Soul would think, see, act and serve as a Soul, inwardly and outwardly. When Identified as a Soul, we think, see and act differently — from a broader perspective, far and wide.
Joy is a high frequency energy that radiates from the Soul. The soul transmits light, love, beauty, power and joy whilst living in the world.
Having known the “discipline of pain and sorrow,” cultivating Joy brings us into a new truth — the “discipline of joy and achievement.” Our perception of reality rapidly changes as Joy becomes a new vibrational keynote in our lives. When sufficient numbers in the human family become the ‘soul in form,’ humanity will reach a tipping point where Joy will “greatly change human consciousness!” In the meantime, let us practice and cultivate the new truth of the “discipline of joy and achievement!”

“I entrust you to cross with Us through joy and sorrow; only in this twofold flame is consciousness created. The exercise of consciousness is the Yoga of the Heart. This exercise is possible only in life; but as you know, this can also be continued in the Subtle World — thus let us approach the fiery knowledge. (Hierarchy, p 344)

“… Discrimination is not a gift but the result of labor and experiment … by many accumulations [experiences] one can acquire discrimination. Man has encountered many situations and has thus refined his judgment. Be assured that he who has no discrimination has passed through a coarse existence and made no effort to free himself from it. Thus he deprived himself of the benefit of cognizing [cognition — awareness] through the heart. The heart of man is not young, for its substance is permanent. Also, having such foundations we shall understand that the impetus that guides humanity [is not] visible in daily life [meaning, the guiding source, the Soul, is not visible, but its effects are visible]. The 7-Day SOLAR FULL MOON OF PISCES has concluded. We now return to the singular focus of JOY.
CONTEMPLATE ~
HIERARCHY, Sloka 96: “If We say, “Do not have desire,” it does not mean to be insensate. On the contrary, replace desire with the irresistible command of a pure thought. In this command you invoke all the powers of Light, and you make their currents act in correlation with your pure striving.
◊ Construct a “pure thought” for this day — make of it a “command” that invokes the powers of Light acting as currents in accord with your pure striving.

“Separation is giving way to Unity and Understanding for the Greater Good.”

Be joyous; not through ancestral desires, but through the command of the entire consciousness in order to create that luminous thread which unites all worlds. “When you have reached a new and higher plane of spiritual awareness remember that with it comes the challenge to abide there. The experience of deeper peace and joy is apt to carry with it what we may call personal confidence as well as a more profound realization that it has been a gift of the spirit, the inevitable reward of aspiration and holy intent.
Your work is to guard it … so that it will not be retaken by the enemies within yourself. And those *enemies which we speak of so often are the tendencies of the mind and body to reach out for diversions and excitements and indulgences. As I have said before, many of these things in themselves are not harmful. It is how you value them that makes them enemies – or not.

Fast and pray, as He said, to keep the ground you have won a holy place; and by fasting and praying I mean a state of mind, an alertness, an awareness of where you are, what you are. You are either in light or darkness, up or down, depending upon the quality of your thought. Bring every thought into captivity – it is an inspiring freedom. This is not a duty but a glorious opportunity, this choosing what you shall be, and living in spiritual action.
Fasting means not drifting, not letting yourself go to shapeless thought, for desires are there and appetites. Prayer is adoration, it is surrender to the inner glory, to the gentle spirit that will lift you so that your foot shall not stumble.
They that minister about holy things, live of the things of the temple. … An infinite love meets every effort and the reward is commensurate with divine understanding. It is greatly joyous!”

“We must cultivate our sense of humor together with an uninterrupted cheerfulness of mind; otherwise we shall not acquire wisdom. God has given this power to all of us if we only choose to use it. Potentially it’s there, but you must bring it into manifestation. If you had three legs instead of two, what would be the good of them if you didn’t learn how to use them? Practice is everything; you practice to acquire facility in this, that and the other art; but not one of these will repay you to the extent that the practice of joyousness will repay you.
Tell yourselves repeatedly: ‘All is Joy.’ Fall asleep with that phrase in your mind last thing at night, and let it be your first waking thought in the morning . Then one day it will begin to work subconsciously, and you’ll retain that joy as a permanent consciousness.
Has it ever occurred to you to ask yourselves why some of you find it so difficult to be unselfish? It is solely because you have not properly caught hold of this feeling of joy. You dislike doing a quantity of unselfish things because they bore and worry you, but if you were always conscious of joy do you suppose anything in the universe could bore you?
Therefore seek ye first the kingdom of Joy—which is an attribute of God—and all things shall be added unto you—even unselfishness!”

Know that the “illumination that comes through joy and love is stronger than any insight that comes through suffering. Yet, people insist that it is suffering that purifies humanity.
Why is it that man is not capable of utilizing the higher path to illumination? The answer is simple--suffering is sown by man himself in the earthly world, and it partially penetrates into the Subtle World. But pure joy and love live in the Fiery World, and are seldom experienced by man. During the coming evolution people will realize where their treasure lies, and will turn to this panacea of light.
Among the new scientific achievements will be the discovery of the power of the [higher] emotions of love and joy. Humanity must steadily grow closer to these impelling forces of light, and understand that any thought of joy has healing power. Even amidst sorrows one can find signs of love and compassion. Let these signposts help the weary traveler. Scientists must learn how much the rhythm of joy opens the gates to an influx of psychic [Soul] energy. Science should demonstrate how the power of joy heals.
The ignorant [unknowing] will say that such advice is not practical, because humanity is drowning in suffering. [Edited:] We would say, choosing to sink into darkness rather than turning to the quest for Light does not utilize the energy of thought.
One must strive ardently toward the renewal of life. Everyone can think of heroism, of joy, and of exalted love. Everyone can gain the power of the healing remedy and spread these emanations in every direction.
The Thinker said, "Sorrow is transitory, joy is everlasting. Love the Light and love the Beautiful."
Thus did the Thinker direct His disciples to the simplest solution".

Remember this, that the materialization of any aspect of the vision on the physical plane is never the work of one [person]. Only when it has been sensed by the many, only when they have worked at its material form can their united efforts draw it into outer manifestation. Thus you see the value of educating public opinion; it brings the many helpers to the aid of the few visionaries. …
“To those who wrestle, strive, and hold on, the joy is doubled when the materialization comes. The joy of contrast will be yours, for knowing the past of darkness you will revel in the light of fruition; the joy of tried and tested companionship will be yours, for years will have proved to you who are your chosen associates, and in community of suffering will come the strengthened link; the joy of peace after victory will be yours, for to the tired warrior the fruits of achievement and rest are doubly sweet; the joy of participation in the Masters' plan will be yours, and all is well that associates you closely with Them; the joy of having helped to solace a needy world, of having brought light to darkened souls, of having healed in some measure the open sore of the world's distress, will be yours, and in the consciousness of days well spent, and in the gratitude of salvaged souls, comes the deepest joy of all,—the joy a Master knows when He is instrumental in lifting a brother up a little higher on the ladder. These qualities are not achieved as the result of disciplining the emotional nature, but demonstrate as a natural, automatic realignment. These two qualities of the soul—serenity and joy—are the indications that the soul, … the One Who stands alone, is controlling or dominating the personality, circumstance, and all environing conditions of life in the three worlds.
