The Seventh LIGHT of the GLORY of the ONE
The Angel of Libra
Libra —The Light that moves to rest. This is the light that oscillates until a point of balance is achieved. It is the light which is distinguished by a moving up and down. EA, 330
Keyword from the Soul: “I choose the way which leads between the two great lines of force.” [EA, 251]
“This constellation…connotes the point of balance in the long relationship and interplay between the pairs of opposites. It indicates the will-to-express—in perfected proportion and harmony—both the life of the spirit and the potency of matter.” EA, 632 Contemplate … and then reflect how this is working, or can work out, in your own life.
For the Disciple/Initiate: “Balance [is] attained, divine love, and understanding.” EA, 333 When the powers of the Libran petal are fully unfolding, there follows deep balance, divine love and understanding.
In the attainment of the high Initiates (the Chohans), the door is opened to the “Peaceful, Silent Will” of Shambhala—the Center where the Will of God is Known—where the King of Kings presides, our God — the Lord of the World. Shambhala is home to the true Place of Peace.

3rd Ray Energy pours through Libra — and through the planetary transmitters in relationship to Libra — Venus, Uranus and Saturn pours 5th, 7th and 3rd ray energy (respectively) to the Earth.
SOLAR FIRE, OR SOUL
Solar Fire relates to the 2nd Person of the Sacred Trinity - the Son/Daughter. Consciousness. Love-Wisdom. Equilibrized energy.
The equilibrizing quality of “solar fire” links this fire to the sign Libra.
Solar fire is the ‘fire of relationship’.
Thus solar fire relates to form, for the second ray is the form-building ray.
The factor of dynamic equilibrium, a harmony-related equilibrium.

The sign Libra “might be regarded as the sign in which the first real vision of the Path appears and of the goal” — achieving full Soul Consciousness “towards which the disciple must ultimately direct his steps. This Path is the narrow razor—edged Path which runs between the pairs of opposites and which—if it is to be safely trodden—requires the development of a sense of values and the power to utilize rightly the balancing, analytical faculty of the mind. It is also the sign of intuitive perception…” [intuition suggests the buddhic plane—the intuitional plane, the plane of Air]. EA, 226

2. Virgo—Meditation—Soul life, as sensed in man, the gestation period. The stage of the hidden Christ. Intelligent man. Personality, as hiding the Christ life.
3. Libra—Contemplation—Life of soul and form is balanced. Neither dominates. Equilibrium. An interlude wherein the soul organises itself for battle [in Scorpio] and the personality waits. This is the probationary path. Duality known.
There is "the activity wherein the personality grows and develops, and yet at the same time it veils and hides the hidden "man of the heart," which is the Christ, within each human form. You have then the interlude wherein the point of balance is reached between these two and neither is dominant. The "scales tip back and forth" in either direction or—as it is sometimes expressed—man swings between the pairs of opposites. Hence the importance of this sign in the life expression of the man and hence also its peculiar difficulty; it provides the curious see-saw experience which proves so distressingly bewildering first to the man who seeks to be entirely human but finds within himself impediments and urges which drive him on to something which is higher than the human and, secondly, to the aspirant or the disciple. His focus of interest and his aim is soul life, yet he finds within himself that which seeks ever to draw him back to the old ways, the old habits and the old desires. (EA, 229)
“This sign is sometimes called "the place of judgment" for it is here that the decision is made and the die is cast which separate the "sheep from the goats." (EA, 229) This refers to the slow path of evolution vs. the accelerated path of Initiation. Sheep choose to follow the normal and slow course of evolution, where the see-saw sways between moving forward and upward and indulging old ways, old habits and old comforts and desires. Goats choose to accelerate their spiritual development through a conscious, steady upward climb. This occurs between the pairs of opposite.
“In this sign …—at the point of balance—opportunity comes and a situation is staged which makes a choice and a determination inevitable. It is a choice which has to be made intelligently and upon the physical plane, in the waking brain consciousness. It is only now that the full purpose [can be reached]…for humanity can reach a point of group usefulness, for it is only now that humanity has reached a point of general and widespread intelligence which can make any choice a definite conscious act, entailing responsibility. Prior to the present time, only a few pioneering disciples and a handful of intelligent people could be regarded as freely choosing at the "point of balance" the way that they intend "to tip the scales”. Today, there are countless numbers…because humanity itself now stands upon the probationary path. This, Libra governs and controls, therefore the path of choices, of deliberately applied purificatory measures and the turning point to tread the path of discipleship, can properly play its part.” (EA, 249/50)
Libra admits the soul into the world centre which we call Shamballa, for it is the polar opposite of Aries which is the place of beginnings. Libra demonstrates the perfect balance of spirit and matter which first came together in Aries. This balance and this relation of the great opposites, spirit and matter, is symbolised for us in the personality situation of balancing the pairs of opposites on the astral plane, and finding between them the "narrow razor-edged path" which leads the man into the kingdom of the soul. "Upon the Probationary Path there comes the swing, consciously registered, between the pairs of opposites until the middle way is sighted and emerges. This activity produces the glamour of the pairs of opposites,… Release from the world of feeling and the polarizing of the disciple in the world of the illumined mind will dissipate this glamour which is part of the great heresy of separateness. The secret of world glamour lies hid in the thought that this triple differentiation veils the secret of creation. Each of the 12 Signs corresponds with an energy — a Petal, vibrating within the 12-Petaled "Heart in the Head" Center of the Thousand-Petaled Lotus of the Crown Center above the Head. As we consciously attune with and access these energies within ourselves, they gradually stimulate and energize our own Soul Powers (siddhis), hence our "gifts". We learn what it means to be authentic — what is yours to Be, do and manifest (Uranus) and what is not yours to do and manifest. We learn to love-attract-magnify the Soul through Venusian Christ Love — and on a higher turn of the spiral we integrate spirit, matter and consciousness as the Triune Soul, the true Soul-Self. We are led from the Lighted Path of the Soul to the Royal Road of Shambhala whereon God-Willed Decisions determine the path of Higher Evolution.
In this interlude between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius, Libra rules. Through the energies of this Sign, we learn to understand the greater issues and decisions facing humanity and how to cooperate with the Plan of God and Decisions of the Great Ones for the "Good" of all and the earth.
The Heart-Mind of Christ in you confers twelve new powers and facets as the True Soul of the One Self. Throughout this period of Libra, we meet and cooperate with the Angel of Libra who is stimulating the seventh of twelve Christed powers – each a facet in the Glory Body of the One Self.

As the Soul Star Group, sensing we are within an even more encompassing Group field, we resonate with "the great potency of the inner groups” (and an Ashram to which we belong - one of the 49 Planned Ashrams of the Christ) ◊ Light a candle, symbol for the living flame of Light in your mind and attune with the 7th Angel (the Angel of Libra) who will stimulate the 7th great petal of light in the center-most 'Heart in the Head' center. ◊ It has been said that a Master is made through a million right Decisions, or choices made as the Soul. Every conscious choice is an exercise of the “will to create” – be it great or small. We are in training to "create as God creates". Reflect.
◊ One of the Angelic powers of the Seventh Petal of Libra is the power to Choose rightly. Streams of Choices lead to Decisions. Reflect. ◊ Consider the spiritual Path as the energy field within which we makes choices that move us beyond the norm of slow evolution, to accelerated progress on the Path of Discipleship and Initiation. ◊ Do you recall a time when you made the Decision that accelerated you on the Path of conscious evolution? How did your life change? ◊ Or, did your choices result in "not" choosing the higher way, wherein you are now presented with fresh opportunity to choose again? Initiates are Goats climbing higher mountains. Reflect.
◊ The petal (of Libran Light) stimulates the power to choose as the Soul chooses. Are there choices or decisions that should be made now? During this period of Libra, we are supported to make choices “as the Soul” would choose — in Soul light and love that is ever present. Be strengthened by this thought.
◊ Bring all your choices in line with the light of your Soul. Be conscious - be aware of the choices and decisions you are making - why you made them, or are making them. Re-visit and reflect upon significant choices you have made - were they made in the light of the Soul? Are they based on truth and the higher impulses of the Soul? Or, were they made from fear and the lower impulses of the self, based on personality desires or the pulls of the lower self - the curriculum of the ego? Or, are they based on the energy conditions, pulls and calls of Love and higher Will - the curriculum of the Kingdom of the Soul and the Holy Spirit? Reflect.
◊ Reflection 'conditions' learning – how to think, act, and create in the future. Whether we've made right choices or mistaken choices, reflection 'sets them right' in the stream of Consciousness where all mistakes are rendered “good” and “right” — because Consciousness is a condition of the Soul which is nested within Love — the great transforming agent and power of the universe. Reflect. ◊ Make a decision to reflect upon all your decisions and choices. Know that we are learning to create as God Creates. This can be as subtle as choosing a thought to think, or conversely to 'follow' a line of thought of occult silence. Register the thoughts you are thinking as subtle decisions you are making through thought. Register whether these thoughts relate to the Will of the Soul moving upon the Noble Middle Way — where Life and Love continuously pours through all your Centers, hence through all your vehicles of expression. Reflect.
◊ Consider the 7 aspects of the Will through which a door to Life opens — that is your unique door. Reflect.
◊ To walk the narrow razor edged path is to tread the path of opposites captured in the phrase “Be Ye in the world but not of it.” The Dual Life of the Disciple is a term describing how the Souls strive to live in the world of form whilst walking the Noble Middle Path. Reflect.
◊ Living as a Soul on the planes of earth is to be led, lead and live by spiritual Principles — the verities of Truth, and the higher Values the great Ones have laid before us. Reflect. Where do these thoughts take you? … Do you see yourself ‘living differently’ if you lived your life in this way? What would need to change?

Vibrationally step into this vibration of Peace … resonate with Peace.

◊ Bring that which must be stilled into an inner ‘Place of Peace’. With the "Breath of Life", come into a deep, abiding Peace .... let this Peace permeate you. Notice the vibrational change. ◊ Breathe into and hold the new ‘point of vibration' also known as a 'point of tension’ ... return to this vibrational Peace again and again ...
◊ Visualize entering the “dome” in the symbol for Libra – it is a ‘Place of Peace’ entered into through the Crown. Let this be a felt experience wherein you choose to enter a known "Place of Peace" deep inside yourself, a deep abiding Peace. It is Real and will become 'real' to you over time.
◊ Equanimity. I choose equanimity this day. I choose equanimity in the moments of this day no matter what arises. Equanimity is 'my Way'. Equanimity is 'my Way of Being' ... this moment, this day, this week, this month. Equanimity brings equipoise to all my vehicles. How? Be the Silent Watcher. "I learn the Way of being equanimous."

HIERARCHICAL/GLOBAL DIAMOND SOUL PRACTICES AND CONTEMPLATIONS
◊ Contemplate: “Truth does not vacillate; it is always True”. [ACIM] The path of Truth is “the Way” to Shamballa. The Noble Middle Path is the path that does not vacillate. ◊ Contemplate treading a path that does not vacillate.
◊ “Atonement is the correction of perception”. [ACIM] Atonement is a vibrational state and stage on the 4th sub-plane of the Buddhic plane, the plane where the Masters of Wisdom anchor Their Consciousness. Our inner peace and the renewing inner strength of Christ abides here arrived at through true perception (free of illusion). Contemplate: Inner Peace arrives through true perception of Reality.
◊ Consider the light in Libra, “distinguished by a moving up and down” – an oscillation between vertical pairs of vibrational opposites. For example, all that exists between ‘high spirit and low matter/etheric’ – between Monad (Spirit) and Soul, between Soul and personality, between the buddhic and the astral planes (all vibrational states within you), between higher and lower kingdoms in nature, e.g., the 5th or Soul Kingdom and the 4th or Human Kingdom … In every case, there are oscillations within which a still point is found – that 'still point' is the ‘razor edged path’ found by living as the Soul on the Noble Middle Way. Consider these as highways of higher and lower frequencies – between the oscillations we can know the steady still point. All eventually leads, in our unfoldment, to the ‘High Way’ of the "Royal Road" upon which the Masters of Wisdom and Chohans walk – leading to Shambhala where the Peaceful Silent Will of God is known, the true ‘Place of Peace’. ◊ Think through (work through) every corresponding oscillation arising in your life coming into balance ... and representing a next step for you in Soul consciousness. These experiments in raising consciousness via oscillation can be subtle. Contemplation invokes them. Contemplation brings them to "mind" in a dynamic way.
For the Disciple/Initiate, oscillations arise through life crises, demanding that “decisions” be made through “Soul Choices”.
What new Soul choices must be made?
What decisions must be made, are being made, from which we cannot, must not, will not vacillate?
For you the person ....
For your group ....
For your Nation (and all Nations) .... E.g., Peace between Nations. Closure of all ivory markets trading in elephant tusks. Animal rights. Sharing of clean water for bordering Nations (Israel and Pakistan). Food, shelter, education, health for all peoples. Gun control/gun elimination, etc.
For the Planet as a whole... E.g., Sustainable, renewable energy sources (solar, wind, free-energy technologies) - stopping oil, coal and other non-renewable sources to which we never return. Stopping for-profit deforestation. Enforcing global clean water, air and land laws.
What decisions must be made, are being made, that are better ways, truer ways, right ways which "do no harm" and benefit the greater whole?
◊ The Law of Supply and Demand on the Noble Middle Way: Upon the lower spiral of Saturn, Saturn will say "No" (to stop and limit the selfish personality) in accord with higher Law; Uranus says Yes for new and better conditions in accord with the higher laws of Saturn for the greater good; and Venus draws together, in affinity attracts the resources desired by the Soul. 'Now can we create as God creates'. Reflect.
◊ Contemplate: Saturn’s laws are 'Heaven' made. The Will of God is Law. Swept into the higher Laws of Love and Will, the Silent Watchers Keep the Way. Karma is undone, the wheel of rebirth is not in play. Freedom is yours.
◊ Contemplate: The Peaceful, Silent Will of Shambhala. The Libran Way becomes “the Royal Road to Shambhala”.
◊ Contemplate: Enter the deep center of the Cross, the depths of Silence ... ◊ After a time, extend this silence… this peace… this equanimity… this poised attitude …to all whom you would contact …in thought…in consciousness…in word…in action ... Sound a silent OM.
◊ Impress your mind with the Light of Libra — "The Light that moves to rest." Keynote: “I choose the way which leads between the two great lines of force.” ◊ Impress your 'self' by associating the above thoughts with the seventh petal. Open yourself to intuitive impression. ◊ Sound a sacred OM sealing in the new vibration and new awareness.

This triple solar system can be described in terms of three aspects, or (as the Christian theology puts it) in terms of three Persons.
1.These “Persons” of the Logoic Trinity are the Three Fires considered as Entities. The energies of these Entities go by the name of the three fires we are studying.
ELECTRIC FIRE, or SPIRIT.
1st Person Father. Life. Will. Purpose. Positive energy.
2.The ideas presented here are familiar to the readers of Master DK’s books.
3.The major fire of our Solar Logos, especially in this second/fifth solar system dedicated to the expression of His cosmic Soul, is solar fire.
4.From this perspective, “electric fire” is but an aspect of the greater “solar fire” which we are considering to be the major fire of the Solar Logos.
5.Each major fire has three subsidiary fires. This is traceable upwards through many ascending triplicities which coalesce into that which is simply an aspect of a still greater triplicity.
6.Within the systemically inclusive solar fire of the Solar Logos, “electric fire” is the dominant fires of the three lesser fires.

11. Points Emerging in Group Discussion:
There is a significant relationship between the following: peace, the Christ (“Prince of Peace”), the triangle and the spiritual triad (the symbol of which is the triangle).
b.The sign Libra is very good in relating the two and the three.
c.The purpose of our present solar system is the manifestation of the “Son of God” (the two) through various triads (or threes).
d.The monad is an aspect of the Solar Logos, and, thus, of the “Divine Son” (especially as the Solar Logos manifests in this solar system). The monad (from this perspective, the two) is to manifest through the spiritual triad (or three).
FIRE BY FRICTION, or Body, or Matter.
3rd Person Holy Spirit. Form. Active Intelligence. Negative energy.
12.“Negative” in this case means “receptive”.
13.This fire deals with externalities and is related to matter, and to the external interplay of forms.
14.The internal interplay of that which resides within the form is the province of solar fie.
Each of these three is also triple in manifestation, making therefore
a. The nine Potencies or Emanations.
15.As stated above, every triplicity is really ninefold.
16.How do these nine correlate with the Seven Rays? Systems of seven and nine must be correlated.
